Choose a Service
Cypress Lake United Methodist Church offers a choice of 3 different services on Sunday mornings.

Traditional Service (8:00am and 11:00am in the Santuary).

Praise Service (9:30am in the Santuary).

Visit the Infant or Toddler Nursery
The church offers two wonderful nurseries for children from birth to age 3. Our infant nursery provides care to newborns and infants up to approximately 18 months of age. Our toddler nursery serves children 18 months old up to age 3. Both nurseries are staffed by a caring Church employee as well as our loving volunteers. A pager service is offered for piece of mind.

Visit the Friendship Room

This is otherwise known as the "coffee" room and is located off the main entrance to our church. You will usually see a crowd and our hostesses have prepared coffee and treats for everyone. Be sure to come in, enjoy a bite to eat and meet new friends!

During the Service

Offering
Each week CLUMC receives an offering. As a guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attenders, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives.  It also gives Cypress Lake United Methodist Church the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.

The Sermon
Every weekend, you will hear a relevant, straight forward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life.  We trust that these messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life. Our sermons are available on this site and can be purchased at the church office.

Communion
On the first Sunday of every month we celebrate communion during each service. Cypress Lake United Methodist Church offers an open table communion which means you do not need to be a member of this congregation or any other Church to participate. The juice and bread that we share represent the life He gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.

After The Service

We invite you to visit the Friendship Room to greet one another or attend a Bible study and explore all that CLUMC offers.

What's Next?

In addition to Sunday services, we offer a wide variety of small group activities for members and guests of all ages. From Bible studies to support groups to mission activities, there is something for everyone. For details, check our calendar.

  • Come and meet your new friends for dinner on Wednesday night (Reservations please).
  • Join a Bible study or Small Group - this is the best way to meet a few members in a small setting and study the Bible (We have Bibles so don't worry about buying one before you start.)
  • When you have gotten to know us feel free to share your talents to enrich the lives of others by volunteering in our office, assisting at events, joining a mission team.
  • Get involved in one of our minisitries and programs.

To become a part of our church family, we invite you to attend "Pizza with the Pastor" on the first Sunday of the month at 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall to meet our pastor and learn more about membership. Sign up in the main entry of the church on Sunday morning.
