GriefShare is a 13 week grief support group open to anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one, regardless of how long it has been since that loss. GriefShare helps people to begin the journey from mourning to joy. A new session of GriefShare began January 16 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel Parlor. Participants are welcome to join at any time.

March 19, 2012 ~ Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupeted by Priscilla Shirer. What do we do when God interrupts our lives? Many times, like Jonah, we run! In this 7-session Bible study using both daily homework and a weekly video teaching, Priscilla redefines interruption and shows that interruption is actually God's invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams. Classes meet weekly to watch a video lesson and participate in small group discussion that will change the way they think about money. Meet every Wednesday morning in the Chapel Parlor for a book based discussion and prayer. All men are welcome.

Bible Study For Mom's ~ 9:00 a.m. in Room F7; Childcare available. Meet weekly throughout the school year for study, support and adult conversation. Discerning the Voice of God by Priscilla Shirer begins January 11. This study provides participants with practical help in knowing what you hear is from God. Women will become more familiar with God's Holy Spirit, His character, language, and tone of voice.

Spend the season of Lent studying 1 Peter
Wouldn't it be great to be free of trouble? That's what we sometimes think. But 1 Peter shows us that difficulties and hardships don't have to wear us down. In fact, this letter teaches us that God can use difficulties to strengthen us. Knowing this can bring hope and reassurance that eternal life is God's ultimate purpose. Join in a study of 1 Peter to discover how faith, refined by suffering, can help us see the Lord more clearly. This is valuable advice for holding firm in difficult times.

After Dinner Bible Study ~ 6:30 p.m in the Chapel Parlor;
Join Pastor Bob Wall for a study of Romans. Paul's letter to the church at Rome asserts that right standing with God comes only through faith in Jesus Christ who died for us as a sacrifce for sin. By studying a chapter a week participants will discover what God has done for all who believe and how believers ought to live in response to the lavish grace of God.
